I bought a hat 6/7/08

I have wanted a Fadora forever! I finally bought one today. It looks just like the one SJP wears in SatC. I love it. Karl hates it. Oh well. I wear it when he doesn't have to look at me! :)

The Dentist 6/6/08

I has to go to the dentist today. I was dreading it! I had to get a root canal. But my tooth was already dead so it didn't hurt a bit. He didn't even even give me a pain killer. Doesn't my smile look great. You can't even tell my tooth had a hole in it! Then I got the bill. THEN I needed pain killers...

Slish Splash 6/5/06

We spent the afternoon at the new pool in Iowa Park. He was worn out.

Everything I need to know in life I learned from Mr Rogers 6/3/08

There's something comforting in the fact that my son watches the exact same show I did as a kid. He loves Sesame Street and Reading Rainbow (my personal childhood favorite) but there is something about this kind, gentle man that makes me feel like I'm 5 years old again. Everyday when he comes on, I get misty eyed when he sings his good-bye song. But I think that what I carry from this incredible man is the quote he would say at the very end of the show: "People can like you, just as you are." Funny how as adults we still need that reassurance. Maybe we should all keep watching Mr Rogers. The world might be a better place.

Me and my Mom 6/2/08

You can't read the lable, but she's holding our favorite ice cream. Blue Bell Key Lime Pie. Yum!

Super Baby 6/1/08

Able to leap couches in a single bound!

Bounce House Fun 5/31/08

Michael was at our friends' kid's birthday party. He loved this thing. I could get him out. We had to deflate it so the kids would leave at the end of the night.

Starting Over 5/30/08

So Nina has been on me forever to start my photo blog back up. So, here you go Nina. Just for you. I took this pic right before I started getting ready for girls' night. Dinner, drinks, and Sex and the City. Very old New York.
